How can my church be involved? There are multiple ways that a congregation can be involved in Impact Northeast. The list below is a guide to demonstrate some possibilities. Undoubtedly, the primary resources for Impact Northeast are local church people. Contact your state convention partnership mission’s director to see how your church can specifically be involved. · Churches can be involved by sending volunteers to work towards specified needs working with their focus point partners. For example, a church in Alabama might partner with a church in Pennsylvania to provide a backyard Bible study for the local community as an outreach ministry. Or, a church in North Carolina might partner with a church in D.C. to provide church repair through construction. · Churches can sponsor both the planting and cultivating of a church in conjunction with their focus point partner. We often think of planting a church down the road or on the other side of the county, but what about sponsoring a church plant in another state? Your church might have the necessary resources and skills to help plant a church in an area that desperately needs a church. · Associations can plan and organize to fulfill a mission task. · State conventions with partnership mission personnel can help coordinate and implement new witness initiatives. |
