Priorities

Impact Northeast has four over arching priorities that give direction to its ministry. They are:

1. Start hundreds of new churches

2. Reach six million students on six hundred college and university campuses

3. Revitalize and encourage existing Baptist churches in the northeast

4. Provide leadership training for pastoral and lay leaders

These four priorities were chosen in order to meet the following challenges found in the northeast.

	The largest unchurched population in the US is found in the northeast.
	Six million students are found on 600 college and university campuses in the northeast.
	To call 50 million lost people between Washington, DC and Boston, Massachusetts to faith in Christ.
	The SBC’s lowest ratio of churches to population in America.
